CTM Festival 2019 – Persistence

CTM is turning 20! The festival will take place from 25 January to 3 February 2019 at various Berlin venues, including longtime partners Berghain, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, and Kunstquartier Bethanien. Under the title Persistence, CTM 2019 examines the aesthetic and societal potentials and pains of perseverance, and of its opposite: the transient and the provisional, and considers the struggles that come with balancing continuity and changeability. As always, the CTM 2019 programme will combine first-hand experience and critical reflection. Club events and concerts will be complemented by daytime offerings of broad-ranging discourse and debate. In addition to a lecture series, artist talks, and the festival exhibition, formats such as the MusicMakers Hacklab with Peter Kirn (CDM), the Research Networking Day with Humboldt University, and other workshops and networking sessions will assure ample opportunities for exchange and learning.
