Heith is the alias of Daniele Guerrini, artist and musician based in Milan. During the last decade he investigated the many possibilities of sound in different directions, from rave music to ambient and electroacoustic, also incorporating the influence of different instances of traditional folk music and ritual music. Along with several solo record releases, his work has also been featured in soundtracks, sound installations and live performances.

Over the years he’s been playing in clubs, festivals, galleries and doing shows and research in different areas of the world. Established in 2013, Heith it’s an outlet for the exploration of sound’s textural qualities, shaping harmonics into compositions evoking spiritual impulses and ancestral visions. His disorienting use of rhythm and sound design is largely aimed at the re-surfacing of thoughts and dreams rendered hazy by psychedelic amnesia.

In 2013 he—together with Francesco Birsa Alessandri—founded Haunter Records, which quickly became one of the main outlets for underground electronic music in Italy. In the same year they together became art director of the cultural research space Macao. This led him to engage into collaboration with a diverse number of international musical and visual artists. Among them: Jesse Osborne-Lanthier, Kareem Lofty, Tarawangsawelas, ZULI, Ruben Patino, Asger Hartvig, Pietro Agostoni…

In 2016 he’s been invited to create and direct the sound for Belligerent Eyes, an art residency hosted by Fondazione Prada focused on new media, mass surveillance, psycho-cognitivism and cinema. In 2018 he composed a digital re interpretation of Indonesian Gamelan called “Laguna” after a few months spent in the country studying composition and traditional music in Bandung. The ep has been released on his label Haunter Records. In early 2019 he started Saucers together with Kiran Sande (Blackest Ever Black / Low Company), a new music platform for his own music projects.
