On our last SHAPE platform show on Resonance 104.4fm, we look back at Rokolectiv, Bucharest’s leading electronic music festival. In the past, the festival took place at a museum and other intriguing venues in the Romanian capital, though it was forced to move to more conventional spaces in the wake of the devastating fire in one of the city’s clubs that killed more than 60 people a few years ago. Musically, it strives to explore the path between club music, performance and live based electronics. This year, it hosted several SHAPE artists, including Catnapp, JASSS, Lyra Pramuk, Nene H and others, as well as our festival members. We caught up with SHAPE artists Lutto Lento and Violet during their stay in Bucharest.
