Alberto Ricca is Bienoise. He composes computer music, with a particular interest in non-musical elements (noise, errors and music buried in them), and in the stimulation of conscious listening and contemplation.
He is the author, with dancer and choreographer Annamaria Ajmone, of the contemporary dance show TO BE BANNED FROM ROME, co-produced by Piemonte dal Vivo and winner of the Hangar Piemonte call, whose “Main Theme” was the first release of C2C Festival’s curatorial label. He also works with the movement research collective Parini Secondo, with whom he writes i (2018), Romegna Mia (2019), SPEEED (2020) and BE ME, winner of the Kreativcampus.Ruhr 2021 call.

His “Most Beautiful Design,” a mini-album of low-quality mp3 compositions, was released on floppy disk in 2018 by the revived cult label Mille Plateaux, which also releases his new album, “This Meaning Today,” in June 2022.
In 2014, he is the only Italian invited to Tokyo for the Red Bull Music Academy. In 2015 he releases the album ‘Meanwhile, Tomorrow’ for White Forest Records, considered by many specialized magazines one of the best Italian albums of the year. In 2018, Enklav releases his “Sharawadji III,” a celebrated EP of free-form techno suspended between analog and digital. He also publishes on Concrete records (“Small Hopes of Common People,” 2015), Bitcrusher (“I’m a Round Teapot\My spout is shaped like a wave,” 2010) and Yerevan Tapes with his duo Merchants.

Since 2019, Radio Raheem Milan has been hosting his monthly selection of unintentional compositions in the NON MUSIC program.
He is founder, with Davide Merlino, of the Verbania-based radical improvisation label Floating Forest.
In 2014, he completed a three-year degree in Electronic Music and Sound Technology at the Como Conservatory.
In 2017, he obtained the chair of Synthesis (I) and Performing Techniques (II) at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
He is not a DJ.
