NFNR is an artistic name of Olesia Onykiienko – Ukrainian musician, vocalist, theatrical and film composer, curator of experimental platform for women and non-binary people in Ukraine `Womens Sound`, `v:uncase` & WOK sound residencies, member of the platform `Institute of Sound`.
Started as choir conductor she transformed choral music practices into electronic composition in different genres, combining multi-layered polyphonic textures of modular vst with another passion industrial field recordings.
NFNR is a participant of Ars Electronica 2018, How Far Is Now artist 2021. In 2020 she released a sound-scape, music-concrete album together with Anna Khvyl `Bubny Voices` devoted to the disappearing area in Prague. In 2021 on Corridor Audio label (UA) released `Dog Rose` album , as well has singles releases on Cashmere Radio (Berlin), СИСТЕМА (UA), several self-released albums.
Since the start of full-scale war NFNR continues living in Ukraine and actively helps the defenders of her country collecting donations, arranging supplies from abroad and playing charity concerts.
